With an ever-growing inventory of marquees and event hire equipment, we are seeking a motivated and energetic Marquee & Hire Team Leader to join our team. The role is offered on a Full-Time basis.

Previous experience working with marquees is essential.

The role includes:

  • Loading/unloading delivery trucks following correct tie down procedures to ensure hire equipment is protected at all times
  • Coordinating marquee and hire equipment logistics
  • Attending site inspections, ensuring accurate measurements and notes are taken in relation to marquee location and site access
  • Installing and dismantling marquees, marquee flooring & delivery of event hire equipment
  • Oversee marquee inventory
  • Support Warehouse Manager with maintenance and cleaning of hire equipment
  • Leading a small team on site to ensure delivery of marquees and hire equipment in a timely manner
  • Liaising on-site with the client to manage expectations
  • Ensuring the presentation of all hire equipment is to the highest standard at all times
  • Varied working hours on weekdays, weekends, evenings and public holidays\

Your skills & experience:

  • 2 years minimum experience in building marquees (ESSENTIAL)
  • Hold a Forklift ticket & MR/HR truck license
  • Enjoy physical work and being outdoors
  • Possess strong people leadership skills and the ability to drive a team
  • Confident under pressure with a capacity to deal effectively with multiple tasks, competing demands and deadlines
  • Have a genuine desire to see a job through to the end with a very high level of detail
  • Have an ability to think laterally through issues to solve problems
